Greg Ryan is a Melbourne author and health advocate who has lived with incontinence his whole life after being born without an anal opening: a congenital abnormality called Imperforate Anus. Alan White is a natural therapist with a fondness of bright Hawaiian shirts who became incontinent following prostate cancer surgery.
What do these people have in common? They all suffer from incontinence and are speaking out to breakdown the stigma around this serious health condition that affects over 5 million Australians.
