Accessibility
The Continence Foundation of Australia is committed to providing a website which is accessible to the widest audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and useability of our website.
The website aims to conform to Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities or special needs. Conforming to these guidelines will help make the web more user friendly for all users.
The Continence Foundation strives to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and useability, however it is not always possible to do so in all area of the website. PDF documents are used in this website which may be difficult to access using assistive technology. Where possible, we have provided an alternative version in HTML formats. To read PDFs you need a PDF viewer which can be downloaded for free from the Adobe website. If you require an accessible word or HTML document, email us or call the National Continence Helpline 1800 33 00 66.
As the Continence Foundation is interested in continually improving the accessibility of our website, feedback from users is important. If you have any difficulties using the site, please email us or call the National Continence Helpline 1800 33 00 66.
