State and Territory schemes provide a range of continence products and equipment to people living in the community who have a permanent or long-term disability.
- the name of the scheme differs between states
- what and how much continence products or funding differs between states
- not all state-based schemes provide disposable continence products such as pads
- there may also be a waiting list to access a scheme
- all people receiving assistance will need to be assessed by a relevant health professional.
