The calibre of applicants for the Australian Bladder Foundation (ABF) research grants has been outstanding, and the ABF advisory committee is pleased to announce the successful grant recipients for 2016:

Christian Moro: Alternative pharmaceutical treatments for bladder management: An investigation into the potential for histamine and prostaglandin targets.

Susan Slade: Optimising uptake and implementation of pelvic floor muscle training exercise programs for people with urinary incontinence.

Wendy Bower: Quantifying nocturia: identifying smart technology to expand diagnostic information, generate robust measures and minimise patient burden.

The ABF grants support advances in knowledge that provides direct, tangible benefits in early prevention, detection and management of bladder and bowel dysfunction.
